“In future, media wars will not be fought between newspapers, and perhaps not even between newspaper websites. They will be fought between internet brands, blogs, online video sharers, news aggregators, gossip sites and things as yet undreamt of. They will not be fought in one city nor one country, but across the globe. They will not be fought with the buying of a newspaper, but with the click of a mouse, or a button on an iPhone, or a text.”
- Paul Harris in The Observer, London on 28th September 2008
We’re credible, courageous, honest, unbiased, upfront and witty and have set out to document the life and times of Pune’s student community. This is of the students, by the students and for the students of Pune City. The Chronicle is a blog/online magazine that is all about Pune’s students. It’s a first of its kind. It’s a forum where the scope and coverage of its subjects is as varied as the interests of students – from debating to road trips from hangout spots to academic courses, from movie reviews to campus fashion. And we’re currently one of the fastest growing blogs on wordpress.com!
Contributions to the Chronicle (writing/pictures/videos) as well as feedback and questions can be sent into the following address:punestudentchronicle@gmail.com The Pune Student Chronicle reserves the absolute right to publish all and/or any of the material contained on this blog/online magazine. Contributions of readers may be subject to editing to meet suitable standards.

it would make more sense to just have the titles of the articles on the main page, otherwise people wouldn’t know that there are more than 3 or 4 articles, unless they scrolled all the way down to your chronicles category.

i agree.. the homepage should comprise of everything the website contains.. links is good! also, on you page, the first article is way longer than the other two… so you’ve a lot of white space happening.. but all in all, i love the idea, the concept..! and execution..
p.s. why the random flickr images?!

Dear Readers,
Thank you for your encouragement and your suggestions. We will certainly incorporate them asap. For now, we’re using a wordpress theme that’s not very flexible. In the near future, we’ll have better technical help and will make the Chronicle much more reader-friendly.
Cheers,
The Pune Student Chronicle

I think this is an excellent initiative… a true identifier of the abilities of Pune youth. Lately we have been subject to a lot of criticism…. an false conclusions. This will be an eye opener for the mis-guided youth and an out let for many who wish to voice out their opinion. BRAVO!!!

Dear Amit,
We don’t use twitter yet. But now that you’ve asked about it we’ll hopefully get around to using it soon.
Cheers,
